Fifty Nine Missiles Heading Towards Your Grocery Store.

We’re going to talk about three things: chemical additives in food, chemical weapons designed to hurt people — and war. The sitting president sees fit to attack something or someone far away to stop chemical warfare — and halt an illegal, unethical practice of using chemical weapons on innocent civilians. Yet every day major corporations shove dangerous chemicals into foods simply for the fact that they save money — costing human life. Apparently we have a sitting president who feels passionately about defending us , and even people who live in another country from the effect of harmful chemical attack— but he’s weakening our civil defenses against the onslaught of chemical attack we Americans face every day.
The attack against the American citizenry by large chemical corporations and lobbyists is one that has reached a span of nearly 15 years — destroying huge areas of safe protection for the American consumer. In 2016, Monsanto won the passage of legislation — through the bribery of Republican represenatives, to be secured against any lawsuit that might occur. This war effort against the American people began in 2013, when Monsanto, reeling from federal court decisions that have found approvals of several genetically engineered (GE) crops to be unlawful, used their spies to quietly slipa policy rider that strips federal courts of the authority to halt the sale and planting of an illegal, potentially hazardous GE crop while the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) assesses those potential hazards. Further, it would compel USDA to allow continued planting of that same crop upon request, even if in the course of its assessment the Department finds that it poses previously unrecognized risks. Far from safeguarding farmers, the only parties whose interests are “assured” by this rider are those of GE crop developers. The “farmer assurance provision” has very little to do with farmers and everything to do with the developers of GE crops. It would strip the Judiciary of its authority to fully adjudicate violations of law by USDA and compel USDA to take actions that might harm farmers and the environment — all to “assure” the profits of a handful of biotech companies, including Monsanto, Dow and Bayer CropScience.
Every court that has reversed a USDA decision to approve a GE crop has carefully weighed the interests of all affected farmers, as is already required by law. No farmer has ever had his or her crops destroyed. USDA already has working mechanisms in place to allow partial approvals, and the Department has used them, making this provision completely unnecessary. But this seemingly ineffective manuever was part of a strategic bombing run by Monsanto to effectively bar federal courts from being able to halt the sale or planting of controversial genetically modified (aka GMO) or genetically engineered (GE) seeds, no matter what health issues may arise concerning GMOs in the future. And again, those same set of companies are often involved in the dangerous and hidden attempt to increase corporate profit at the cost of human life, passing poison off as synthetic substitutes for healthy , organic food — often through the same weaponized legislation as the Monsanto protection act. We must, in the court of public opionion and in the realm of the common good — oppose the attacks by these corporations to push down the quality and health of our citizenry to suffer upon the table of corporate profit.
It is an honorable, noble thing to defend innocent civilians against waves of chemical raining down upon them, causing disease and death. Images of children suffering from such action are potent symbols for why we fight such evil. But even more so, defend our own.
Would this sitting president order a strike against a Grocery Store? Though erratic, behaving as if he is a creature of a foreign power — we will probably not see this. Yet it must be said that the justification for destroying a foreign military site that does not stop the Chemical Warfare waged against its own citizens — at the cost of 74 million dollars per strike — is in very many ways the same justification used by weakened FDA and other government entities who battle against corporations and lobbyists that take their toll in innocent human life. The weakened, damaged FDA under this sitting president may not stop the chemical warfare waged by them against us.
You can be a spy for the resistance. Read carefully the labels of the foods you buy — do they contain GMO Soybean oil, Propylene glycol alginate (E405), Polysorbate 60, Transfats, Textured soy protein concentrate, carrageenan, maltodextrin, disodium inosinate, disodium guanylate, modified cornstarch?
If you see any of them. Pick up the phone. Call down the missile strike. And run.
